For brokers
PlotsLand welcomes brokers who play it straight — labeled listings, no duplicates, and a verified profile that earns buyer trust.
Can brokers list plots on PlotsLand?
Yes. PlotsLand is owner-first, not owner-only. Brokers and agents can list plots they're mandated to sell, build a profile, and manage all their enquiries in one inbox.
The one hard rule: your role must be disclosed. Broker listings are labeled as such, and passing off a brokered plot as owner-direct is a fast route to suspension. Buyers can filter to owner-only listings — a broker listing competes on the quality of the plot and your reputation, not on disguise.
If you operate under RERA agent registration in your state, add the registration number to your profile; it strengthens your verification and buyers do check for it.
How is a broker listing different from an owner listing?
Functionally they're the same — same form, same photos rule, same moderation. The difference is the label buyers see and the expectations behind it: as a broker you're asserting you hold a genuine mandate from the owner to sell that specific plot.
Keep evidence of the mandate (a signed authorisation or listing agreement). Moderation may ask for it if a listing is reported, and “the owner told me on the phone” doesn't hold up when two brokers post the same plot at two prices.
Price the plot at the owner's actual expectation. Inflated broker margins baked invisibly into the price are the most common reason broker listings get reported by buyers who later meet the owner.
What are the rules on duplicate and recycled listings?
One plot, one listing. Posting the same plot multiple times, re-posting a stale listing as new to reset its age, or listing a plot that another user has already listed at the owner's request are all treated as duplicates and removed in review.
Recycled photos are caught the same way — using shots of a different (usually better) plot in the same layout is a listing-standards violation, not a marketing technique.
Repeated duplicate or recycled listings escalate from removal to account suspension. If you genuinely hold the mandate and someone else has posted the plot, report their listing instead of posting a competing copy.
How do I build a broker profile buyers trust?
Complete your profile — name, photo, city, localities you actually work, and your RERA agent number if you have one — and get verified. A verified broker with ten accurate listings outperforms an anonymous account with fifty thin ones.
Respond fast and honestly. Buyers rate their experience with their feet: brokers who answer within hours, state document status upfront, and don't bait-and-switch get repeat enquiries and referrals through the platform.
Keep your portfolio clean: close sold plots promptly, keep prices current, and never let a reported listing sit unfixed. Your account history — including reports and moderation actions — shapes how your future listings are reviewed.
How can I promote my listings and manage many at once?
Paid plans lift the Starter limit so you can run multiple live listings with per-listing analytics — views, enquiries, and reveal counts — from a single dashboard. See the pricing page for current plans.
Promote packages work per listing: Urgent adds an attention badge, Featured places the listing in curated carousels, and Top of Search lifts it in matching results for a fixed number of days. They boost visibility, not ranking dishonesty — the listing still has to pass the same standards.
Spend where it counts: promote your one or two strongest, best-documented plots rather than spreading a budget across everything. Promoted listings that convert poorly (because the plot is overpriced) are wasted money.
